Farmersville Chautauqua 2008 Art Festival
Saturday, September 6, 2008
McKinney Street/Downtown Farmersville, Texas
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Farmersville Downtown Merchant Association (FDMA) in conjunction with the Farmersville Main Street Program and the Farmersville Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce plans for the Farmersville Chautauqua (Chat-a-qua) 2008 Art Festival on Saturday, September 6, 2008.

The cost for a store-front booth is an affordable $25.00 per booth (approximately 10 ft x 10 ft), 80% of which will go towards advertising the event. Anticipating the number of participants to exceed our store-front availability, arrangements have been made to block off a portion of Washington Street between McKinney Street & Farmersville Parkway to accommodate everyone. The cost for a tent space (approximately 10’X10’) will also be $25.00. If you are unable to attend but have examples of your work for sale, we will have an indoor-manned area available ($25.00 fee still applies).

All mediums are encouraged to participate (sculpture, woodwork, photography, fibre, oils, chalk etc). If you would like to be on our demonstration schedule, please fill out the demonstration portion of the enclosed   application. Applications MUST also include:

  • Vendor Application
  • Photographs/Digital copies of your work or a website reference
  • Payment ($25.00 per space)

If you are interested in being a part of Chautauqua, please fill out the enclosed application and return it to Carol Tapp, 122 McKinney Street, Farmersville, Texas, 75442 or go to the Farmersville web page www.farmersvilletx.com and click on Chautauqua 2008. You can also call 972.784.2478 for additional information.
